My House is For Sale

Out of the blue, Belinda and I received a letter from a Realtor in town asking if we were willing to sell our house. The letter stated he had a client interested in purchasing it, and that if we were interested in selling he’d like to talk to us. The only people we’ve informed of our need to get rid of the house are our friends and family (and all of you who read the blog of course), so I had no idea why such a letter would arrive precisely when we were trying to decide what to do with it. I’ve been resigned to the idea of foreclosure, because the market is so slow here in Redding, and 3 houses on our block have been for sale for months.

I called him immediately. We now have a “For Sale” sign sitting out front, and he has people who want to come take a look. Hopefully the clients he mentioned will buy it. If not, at least it’s on the market now, so it’s fair game for all. If you know someone in the Redding area, or wishing to move to the Redding area, tell them to check this place out.

Donny, that is a huge answer to our prayers for you and Belinda. Me and Kristi are thrilled and you will have a buyer quickly. This is exactly what we began praying for the day we met you two. We will spread the word. We have friends in Real Estate here as well. We will see what they think would help a quick sale. Love you guys.

I guess you were in deep financial ’shit’ before turning to the lord.

From your postings on GFY, it was Belinda’s first home purchase and you co-signed. You were so proud…

Anyways good luck in selling the house for profit…I believe it is the same house that you shot naked ladies in…

Donny, found you in a round about way thru my brother Tony – hubby & I live in Yuba City, not far from you…it just hit me, did you come down here w/xxxchurch the first weekend in Nov? If so, you were nearly within shouting distance! Praying for you, not just the house selling, but for you & Belinda too.

hey my friend. . . sounds like someone knows who you are, where you are and what you need… receive it.
also bro there has been something in the “first love” passage that has been stirring in my heart for you since you posted re: Belinda this past Sunday. relationships are founded on things we found and valued in the beginning. . . recall the first things . . . revisit and perhaps in that reality a greater reality will be birthed in you both. praying for you and those you love.

I’m tempted to post some of the nice pics I have taken in that home.

You’re lucky I have Psalms 23 tattooed on my ass.

    So…anything happen yet?

One of my former elder’s family had sold their house within 20 minutes of listing in a similarly bad market in my area, too. He was being transferred into Chicago and they needed to sell pretty quick. They thought the same thing at that point…”You think God wants us to go to Chicago much?”

Are you going to get any substantial amount from the sale? Any way that it can help you with your other stuff to keep you out of debt?
