Re: Porn Sites I Owned
I’ve had several people inquire why the sites I used to own still exist.Here’s one example:
“Donny, are you reformed or not? Why are your other domains still up? Are you still getting income from them? Even if you aren’t, it really undermines your credibility to have that stuff out there still. You’re still a pornographer even if you’re not producing new content.”
The answer is simple:I sold all of my pay sites in November of 2005 (10 months before I surrendered my life to God). While I continued to produce content for the new owner as part of the purchase agreement, all porn production stopped when I surrendered my life to God. Those sites still remain online and the company that owns them has Belinda (my ex-fiancée) and another content provider shooting for them.
I think you rock! Although you owe no explanations… its always awesome to “keep an account”.
Your testimony is amazing and anyone who knows the Lord can take one look at you, one listen to your spirit and know YOU ARE REDEEMED!

Unfortunately, people do rush to judgement before knowing everything. They shouldn’t have to know if they see that God is working on you, and sometimes the process is slow or contractually binding. But thank God, that nonetheless, it is instead how you describe. God makes a way where there is no way, sometimes even in ways we may not have planned, such as positioning you in such a way that you could walk away from it with out the strings attached that would have bound you there longer than what you would have wanted especially when He was planning to bring you in and wrap His arms around you in His love, grace and forgiveness. 10 months earlier at that.
God is good and excellent. The same is true of what He does in our lives.
Praise God and to God be the glory.

Remember this, we all have a past, that’s something we can’t change. But it’s the now and the future that counts, and our actions during these times are what will amount to something.

Thanks for your testimony. I also suffer/suffered with the pull of pornography in my life, even after giving my heart to Jesus. Now, I am in the process of healing my heart to the point where I am completely free of the pull that only this “drug” produces(6 years after giving my life to God). God bless you and may He continue to work through you to set people truly free from pornography.
Hey, i got into your page dont know how, but i have a question or some. You changed your life to the positive and stoped producing adult videos.(if i got that correct). Me it’s almost the otherway around. I been free lancing as a camera oporator for 5 years and i seem not to get a breakthru because i would like to stay independent. I have also been volunteering at a church for 4 years as a camera oporator and 2 as a director. I love it but would like to make money and own a production company, i have been contemplaiting to start a adult video production. Dont know what to think. at leats i would make some good income.

I don’t understand you. You either like something or you don’t. I won’t judge you either way though, but don’t focus all your energies on something you have obviously given up.
The truth is, there is nothing wrong with sex, porn, nudies etc. Just people who judge others - hence trying to ruin those lives.
My advise would be focus on your own self and forget what others do should it not interest you. Providing of course nothing injurious is being done to the person and common sense implemented.
Everything is given to you here on earth & this life to enjoy. Should you not enjoy it anymore, move on. But for god’s sake don’t shove your beliefs down other people’s throats.
I like apples, you like oranges. We can’t all eat oranges because you now prefer them.
Censorship (not that i’m accusing you of it) is equivalent to the saying “where they burn books, they will eventually burn humans”. And Hitler was guilty of that.
Life’s pleasures are here for all to enjoy whichever way they choose. For this is the will of God. If it wasn’t, don’t you think god would of had it in his power to take it away or never give it in the first place?
The human spirit is here to experience itself. For how can it know good if it does not know bad? For how can it know right if it does not know the wrong. For as long as you judge you will never be complete or enlightened.
What’s true about yourself is the highest feeling you have about something. Hidden in your deepest feelings is your highest truth. And that feeling is God talking. For God expresses himself to us through feelings. Do not ever deny them.

That which gives you pleasure, whatever it might be, has consequences, some of which affect others adversely as well as yourself. “Feelings” cannot accurately direct you….I may not feel like paying my bills, or I may feel that your car is rightfully mine….you find your god in pleasure and experience………it sounds like your god is your appetite. This god cannot help you, my friend. You need the real thing. Jesus is His name. He wants to heal your pain and set you free from those things that bind you. When you realize you need healing and freedom…..He isn’t judging you in the way you imagine. These guys here are not judging you. Porn hurts people….a lot of people. The pleasure is fleeting….the slavery quickly follows. The shame, the guilt, and exploitation….the addictive nature…. Exposing the truth about this is a service….they cannot help but tell the truth because they have been delivered from the darkness. Praise God…He delivers. This is not the judgment, my friend, this is a warning. Jesus has the keys…..he has the answer. Sadie.

it’s weird, I always thought the bible was the message of God, and Jesus WAS God in the flesh…. because he said things like “who so ever even LOOKS at a woman with lust commits adultery in his hear” and “if your right hand causes you to sin cut it off”
and hey Donny, it does kinda look wrong that you sold your websites, but if it was 10 months before being saved i understand… you were in the world, I’m sure you wish you had been able to destroy them.

1. I’d like a reference as to where I’ve proclaimed to be a Messenger of God.
2. The sites were sold because the work we were doing for Playboy and our other clients was taking up so much of our time that I chose to sell the sites and focus exclusively on producing content. At that time I had no idea I’d be surrendering my life to God 10 months later.

From what I can see you have repented, and praise God, I’m happy for you, and pray you will never cease.
It must be terrible for you. I think that my struggles are serious but your coming straight out of the industry and your fiancee stayed behind. I can’t imagine how that must feel.

Glad to see that God has turn your life around, I have struggled with porn since I was first exposed to it when I was 13 and I am 30 now. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of it and have tried different things to be rid of it. I know its my eternal struggle while here on Earth but I also know there is grace in this.
I have seen Zeitgeist, a lot of conspiracy in it. I dont agree with its idea that christianity is based on Astrology even though some things may seem related its not. I think God chose to allow people to read into it whatever they want to cause their hearts are blind to the truth. The monetary system part is interesting and the 9/11 conspiracy is interesting but I dont believe it to be true either.
I posed for you back in 2000. I never regretted it. You were amazingly kind and honest and patient (I was very shy). Posing for those pictures really opened me up and gave me confidence in my body that I never had before. It has affected my marriage in a very positive way. I never did anything like that again (because of the possible repercussions), but I just wanted to thank you for the kindness you showed me that night.
I’m not surprised that you have given yourself to God - what you were doing did not seem to fit your personality. I think you made the right decision for yourself, but I still feel that couples need access to information on sex. Our society does not openly discuss the matter and it greatly affects the satisfaction in a marriage. I agree that pornography is not the answer - I believe open communication and healthy exploration is.
Does the church support the teaching of sexual technique? And if so, where would a good Christian find this information? Just telling people not to look at porn will not make the demand for it go away - you need to give them healthy alternatives.
Sex is a gift from God and should be enjoyed with a loving heart. We should raise our children with this attitude from the start and talk openly about the subject instead of making sex seem dirty and wrong. Porn wouldn’t seem that appealing if the subject wasn’t so forbidden.
